I took this photo close to my home on a beautiful autumn day. Actually,no.. it may have been the last day of summer.
Looking at this picture, again, just reminded me of something unrelated, err, but sort of related:
Have you ever watched that great water fountain show outside the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas? The water, the lights, the music– gorgeous, right? Well, one day, on a Las Vegas layover, I decided I would try to catch the Bellagio display in action. It did not disappoint. It was beautiful. However, as I stood watching and leaning over the concrete wall that separates the sidewalk from the water, I looked down into the pool. What did I see? Hundreds of those trashy flip cards of bare-breasted exotic dancers and escorts. They were laying at the bottom of the pool. It didn’t ruin my viewing experience. I just accepted (not sure that’s the right word!) that it was also also part of the show.
Anyways, I really like this photo. I like how the yellow contrasts against the richness of the stream. Sadly, even the litter is yellow! I mean, I guess if there has to be litter, it doesn’t get better than that.
